The 8th Annual Hacker Classic Golf Outing will be taking place on August 9, 2014. The tee time has been moved up to 11:00 am this year, and all festivities, including dinner and silent auction will be held at the Oaks Club at the Shelby Oaks Golf Club.

This year we will be raising money to help the family of Austin Owens. Austin is an 8 year old, right here in Sidney, who was diagnosed with X-Linked ALD (Adrenoluekodistrophy) this past fall and has been undergoing treatments for several months. We are proud to put on a quality golf outing, and donate to a family in our community that needs our help.

Make sure that you are at Buffalo Wild Wings in Sidney on September 28th, from 2:00 to 8:00. We will be having the first annual Buffalo Wild Wings / Big Four Foundation Tailgate Party before the Buckeyes take on Wisconsin. 

The band Pearl Street will be playing live on the patio and we will have David Shields Auctioneering on hand to live auction some Ohio State sports memorabilia. We have an autographed Jack Tatum jersey in white, which is a very rare piece that will be our largest offering and the bidding will start at $200. We also have an Archie Griffin football, a Braxton Miller footbal, as well as a Urban Meyer autographed mini helmet!

Buffalo Wild Wings will be donating 10% of the food sales to the Big Four Foundation from 2:00 to 8:00 that day, and we even have the Jersey Raffle going on as well. Please come out and support a great cause that is helping families in our community.

The college football season is quickly approaching and that means the Buffalo Wild Wings / Big Four Foundation tailgate party is right around the corner. September 28 will be the tailgate party at Buffalo Wild Wings when the Ohio State Buckeyes will be playing the Wisconsin Badgers. I know that many of you will be heading over to "The Shoe" to watch the game live, but I hope the rest of you will come out to Buffalo Wild Wings for some live music, and live auction of Ohio State autographed memorabilia. We have already lined up a Braxton Miller autographed football, an Urban Meyer autographed mini helmet, and we are working on getting an autographed Jack Tatum jersey, and likely something autographed from Jim Tressel. Please come out and have dinner enjoy the music and bid on some awesome items that can help the Big Four Foundation become the source for those in need in Shelby County.

The 7th Annual Hacker Classic has come and gone and what a wonderful success the event turned out to be. 

It was wonderful to hear from Justin Harmon at the beginning of the day and to understand what he is going through and how we were being helpful to a person that means very much to so many. 

The Dixon golf representative that was at the course added a fun dimension to 9 West and I think that everyone had fun with that. 

We were able to have a record number of teams in attendance, a record amount made during the silent auction, and an overall record amount that we will be able to give back to the Harmon family for whatever needs they may have.

The Hacker Classic Golf Outing is coming up this Saturday August 3rd. We have officially filled the outing with 26 teams. We hope that everyone will come out, have a great time, bid on some great sports memorabilia through out silent auction, and raise money for our friend Justin Harmon and his family! You can find the silent auction items on our Facebook page if you want to get a head start on what you are going to bid on? We will have a shotgun start at 1:00 on Saturday with a dinner provided at the FOP right after golf. If you need directions don't hesitate to ask us! We will also be handling door prizes a little differently. Once back at the FOP you will head over to the door prize table and look for your prize that will already be drawn. If it is something you don't want, trading is acceptable! I know I wouldn't want a Bengals cooler!

We are also kicking off our T-shirt sales. The Big Four Foundation T-Shirt is currently on sale and we will be producing them as soon as we get done with the Hacker golf outing. They will be one for $18 or 2 for $30 with the proceeds going to further help families in our community.

Buckeye Ford has agreed to sponsor a hole in one challenge at the 2013 Hacker Classic Golf Outing to Benefit the Justin Harmon Family.

The hole in one will win you the opportunity to have a Ford vehicle lease for an undisclosed amount of time.

Sponsorships for the Hacker Classic are rolling in as we speak. Most of our sponsors from last years event have jumped on board and gotten involved. We love seeing our community come out to support one of their own. We only wish that we could do this more so that we could help more people, but unfortunately for us we are all volunteers.

The Big Four Foundation released a new logo. This logo will be the standard going forward and will help to maintain brand recognition through all of their endeavors. Upcoming events for the Big Four Foundation include the Hacker Classic Golf Outing to benefit the Justin Harmon Family on August 3rd at the Shelby Oaks Golf Club. There is also a partnership between Buffalo Wild Wings in Sidney and the Big Four Foundation that will bring the season long jersey raffle every Saturday and Sunday through the football season, as well as an Ohio State Tailgate Party for the Ohio State / Wisconsin game on Saturday September 28. 

The Big Four Foundation will continue giving all of your help to families in need. The Justin Harmon family will be a focus this year as Justin is battling cancer. The Big Four will also be looking into lending support to the Veterans to DC trips, and getting other families assistance as well.

We are currently working on an event that would pair The Big Four Foundation with Buffalo Wild Wings in Sidney. We are looking to have an Ohio State Tailgate Party on September 28 for the Wisconsin game. Right now we are attempting to get a live band together, as well as have a live auction for Ohio State football memorabilia. More details will come as we nail down the specifics.
