The Hacker Classic Golf Outing is coming up this Saturday August 3rd. We have officially filled the outing with 26 teams. We hope that everyone will come out, have a great time, bid on some great sports memorabilia through out silent auction, and raise money for our friend Justin Harmon and his family! You can find the silent auction items on our Facebook page if you want to get a head start on what you are going to bid on? We will have a shotgun start at 1:00 on Saturday with a dinner provided at the FOP right after golf. If you need directions don't hesitate to ask us! We will also be handling door prizes a little differently. Once back at the FOP you will head over to the door prize table and look for your prize that will already be drawn. If it is something you don't want, trading is acceptable! I know I wouldn't want a Bengals cooler!

We are also kicking off our T-shirt sales. The Big Four Foundation T-Shirt is currently on sale and we will be producing them as soon as we get done with the Hacker golf outing. You can purchase them from our Square Market store at https://squareup.com/market/the-big-four-foundation . They will be one for $18 or 2 for $30 with the proceeds going to further help families in our community.

We look forward to having you at the outing, and purchasing shirts. Helping local families is what we do. Get on board and #giveback!

The Big Four Foundation has partnered with Dixon Golf.

Dixon Golf made the first significant innovation in golf in nearly a decade in 2008 when the Dixon Earth ball was released. Leading golf in the concept of sustainability, Dixon Golf manufactures golf balls that are both high performance and 100 percent recyclable.

Dixon Golf's manufacturing facility meets the highest standards of sustainability. It is lit by LED lights, its energy comes in large part from solar panels, it has better air quality and lower VOC's compared to manufacturing facilities of its kind, and recycles it's water.

Dixon Golf representatives will be on site at the Shelby Oaks Golf Course to host a Par 3 chipping contest and a Par 5 Driving contest that will give money back to the Big Four Foundation and provide the winners with some excellent prizes, even a possible trip to Las Vegas to play in The BIG Tournament which could raise up to $10,000 for the winners charity! Head over to www.dixongolf.com to check them out!

Sponsorships for the Hacker Classic are rolling in as we speak. Most of our sponsors from last years event have jumped on board and gotten involved. We love seeing our community come out to support one of their own. We only wish that we could do this more so that we could help more people, but unfortunately for us we are all volunteers.

We still have spots open for golf teams and would love to reach at least 25 teams if possible. Please get in touch with us to show your support for the Justin Harmon family. He has run this outing in the past and has a heart to give back to people, so let's give back to him and his family!

The Big Four Foundation released a new logo. This logo will be the standard going forward and will help to maintain brand recognition through all of their endeavors. Upcoming events for the Big Four Foundation include the Hacker Classic Golf Outing to benefit the Justin Harmon Family on August 3rd at the Shelby Oaks Golf Club. There is also a partnership between Buffalo Wild Wings in Sidney and the Big Four Foundation that will bring the season long jersey raffle every Saturday and Sunday through the football season, as well as an Ohio State Tailgate Party for the Ohio State / Wisconsin game on Saturday September 28.

The Big Four Foundation will continue giving all of your help to families in need. The Justin Harmon family will be a focus this year as Justin is battling cancer. The Big Four will also be looking into lending support to the Veterans to DC trips, and getting other families assistance as well.

We are currently working on an event that would pair The Big Four Foundation with Buffalo Wild Wings in Sidney. We are looking to have an Ohio State Tailgate Party on September 28 for the Wisconsin game. Right now we are attempting to get a live band together, as well as have a live auction for Ohio State football memorabilia. More details will come as we nail down the specifics.

We have to say thank you to Roger Detrick of Lacal Equipment. Roger has always been there for us and his community and he gave us a wonderful endorsement today. Thank you so much!

"The Hacker Golf Classic is one of several projects Michael Mitchell, Steven Rose, Jeff Morris and Seth Dodds have created voluntarily to help people of all ages who are in need. These projects create financial and character support and I encourage any and all to get involved and support these worthwhile projects. All proceeds go to those in need." - Roger Detrick, President, Lacal Equipment

We are blessed to have Don and Diane Knight step up and donate two tickets to the Ohio State / Indiana game for our silent auction! Two of greatest people I know other than my own parents and they have huge hearts only matched by their giving. We have also gotten a donation from Chris Norris and John Moorman on behalf of their families to sponsor a hole. You don't have to golf in the outing to help a family in need!

This is what the Big Four Foundation is all about. Bringing the community together to help those who need us!

We thank the Knight, Norris, and Moorman families
